Summer Mornings

Today is our first day of summer break. I wish I could say we did something exciting but we just stayed home. The day started of beautiful. The sun was shinning and we played outside. Later it ended up dumping rain. Despite the crummy weather the kids were really good. Jane and her friend Annie mad up a school class and we all were the students. I just love seeing my kids be creative. I think Jane would be a really great teacher. Jane wrote this poem today. She told me, when she was out on the swing this morning she noticed the breeze and the birds and felt inspired to wright this poem. I thought it was excellent!

Summer mornings filled with light.
Summer mornings happy and bright.
You'll just love the soft breeze.
Listen to the bird's in the trees.
Summer mornings filled with love.
Summer mornings soft and sweet like a dove.
