New School Year

Jane and Eli started school this year on Aug. 24th!  Wowza, the summer flew by.  To be honest I wasn't really ready for it to be over.  It is always nice to get into a consistent rutine but I was really loving our carefree days.  I am such a homework hatter!

Jane is in the forth grade with Mrs. Jensen and Eli is in the first grade with Mrs. Smith.  I don't know why I have such a hard time when my kids go to first grade.  I think it is even harder than kindergarten.  They are gone all day and I think by the time they are five they are starting to grow up a lot, not throw so many tantrums, you know, I guess I could say easier. ( Not that ANY of my children have been hard, lol)

Audrey and Emily Quigley with Jane at the bus stop.  What a cute bunch.

I am always so grateful for Matt and that he is a worthy priesthood holder.  It is such a special thing that first day of school.  Matt give's them a blessing and they walk to the bus together.  It makes me feel like everything is going to be alright.

My, my, my how this sweet child has grown. Hyrum's first day of school was Sep. 12th.  He is going to the Little Red School House.  I love that pre-school.  Jane and Eli both went there and I am convinced it is the best.  I really enjoyed having Hyrum home all day with me last year.  He went to part of the year of pre-school but then I just pulled him out and kept him home.  It was wonderful.  I will always cherish that time we had together.  AS for now he has mad a new best friend, Krew Love.  They are inseparable. He love's going to school and playing with his new friends.

St. George Trip September 2011

We went down to St. George for a quick trip.  We swam, swam and swam some more!  We got there thursday night.  Friday we went to Sand Hollow.  My kids call it the mini Lake Powell.  Kali and Viv came with us.  When we got back to the condo around 4:00 the kids asked if they could go swim in the pool!

Walt sporting some goggles!  How cute is that face?

Matt and the kids were catching craw fish.

Cutie bug Jane, she is a little fish!

I just love this little baby!  Viv really is so much fun.  I loved getting spend time with the Hugie family!

Friday night the girls went out to dinner at the pizza factory.  Even though Viv was a little gem we took her home to the boy while Jan, Kali and I went to see the little Mermaid at Tuacahn.

The Little Mermaid was awesome.  We had such a great time.  I love going to Tuachan.  It is so cool to be outside. I can't say the boys had the best time, poor Viv cried for most of the time we were gone. Payton and Matt are such troopers.

Kali and I took all the kids to this place called Anti-gravity, Saturday night while Matt and Payt watched a football game.  It was this big warehouse full of trampolines.  It was a lot of fun.  I wished the trampolines were a bit more bouncy, maybe they leave them kinda loose so kids aren't bouncing up to the ceiling.

Wow, I didn't realize how sweaty I was until I saw this photo!  Trampoline jumping is good exercise.  I must admit, I LOVE to jump on the trampoline!  I have this goal in life that every summer that I am not pregnant I will jump on the trampoline and do a few backflips.  I am hoping it keeps me young!!

Walt and Hyrum

Yep, that's me testing out the slingshot game.  I think I might have given Eli whiplash on that thing.  It really whips you back.

Hyrum, trying out the boxing ring.
